Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg beef sirloin or rump steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for grilling
  • Fresh lemon wedges for serving
  • Sliced bread or rolls
  • Tomato salsa or salad for serving

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to create a seasoning blend.
  2. Rub the seasoning blend evenly over the thinly sliced beef and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill or braai over medium-high heat and brush with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Grill the seasoned beef slices for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  5. Remove the beef from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  6. Serve the Kapana Braai hot with fresh lemon wedges, sliced bread or rolls, and a side of tomato salsa or salad.
  7. Enjoy!
