- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a small loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the Amarula liqueur and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, you can dust the top with powdered sugar if desired.
