Fried goat cheese
Ingredients
Method
- Slice the goat cheese log into rounds, about 1/2 inch thick.
- In a shallow dish, whisk together the egg and milk to create an egg wash.
- Place the flour, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper in separate shallow dishes for breading the goat cheese.
- Dip each goat cheese round into the flour, then the egg wash, and finally coat it in breadcrumbs.
- Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Fry the coated goat cheese rounds for about 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Serve the fried goat cheese on a bed of mixed greens and cherry tomatoes, drizzled with your favorite dressing.
- Enjoy!
