Method
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, grated carrot, sliced onion, and minced garlic.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the white vinegar, water, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the vinegar mixture over the vegetables and toss to coat evenly.
- Cover the bowl and let the curtido sit at room temperature for at least 2 hours, or refrigerate for a few hours to overnight for the flavors to develop.
- Serve as a side dish or topping for your favorite dishes. Enjoy!
