- 1 cup bamboo shoots sliced (optional)

- Add the onion, bell pepper, and bamboo shoots to the wok. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
- Pour in the beef broth and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for another minute until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Serve the Ngau Pak Yip hot over steamed rice.
