- 1 lb beef cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup thick coconut milk
- 1 onion finely chopped

Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pan or pressure cooker. Add fennel seeds, cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom pods. Sauté for a minute until fragrant.
- Add chopped onions, green chilies, ginger, and garlic. Sauté until onions turn translucent.
- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the beef pieces and cook until they are browned on all sides.
- Add chopped tomatoes and curry leaves. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and oil starts to separate.
- Add coconut milk and enough water to cover the beef. Cover and simmer on low heat until the beef is tender (about 45 minutes to 1 hour) or pressure cook for about 20-25 minutes.
- Check for seasoning and adjust salt and spice levels if needed.
