Ingredients
  

  • 1 jar dill pickle chips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for some heat)
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • Oil for frying
  • Ranch dressing or your favorite dipping sauce

Method
 

  1. Drain the dill pickle chips and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Pour the buttermilk into another bowl.
  4. Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (180°C).
  5. Dip the pickle chips into the buttermilk, then dredge them in the seasoned flour mixture, making sure they are evenly coated.
  6. Carefully place the coated pickle chips into the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the fryer.
  7. Fry the pickle chips for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove the fried pickle chips with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
  9. Serve the Fried Dill Pickle Chips hot with ranch dressing or your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
