Ingredients

  • 1 cup glutinous rice
  • 1/4 cup red beans
  • 1/4 cup lotus seeds
  • 1/4 cup dried jujubes sliced
  • 1/4 cup peanuts
  • 1/4 cup dried longan or raisins
  • 1/4 cup rock sugar or brown sugar
  • Water
  • dried fruits or nuts additional for topping

Instructions

  • Rinse the glutinous rice, red beans, lotus seeds, and peanuts separately under running water.

  • Serve the Eight Treasure Porridge hot, garnished with additional dried fruits or nuts if desired.
