Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 can artichoke hearts drained and quartered
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  3. Add the quartered artichoke hearts to the skillet and stir to combine with the shrimp.
  4. Pour in the white wine and chicken broth, and bring the mixture to a simmer. Let it cook for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve the shrimp and artichoke hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
