Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound medium-sized shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

Method
 

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  3. Dip each shrimp first in the flour mixture, then in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F (180°C).
  5. Fry the shrimp in batches for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the shrimp with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  7. Serve the Popcorn Shrimp hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
  8. Enjoy!
