Method
- In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- Dip each shrimp first in the flour mixture, then in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F (180°C).
- Fry the shrimp in batches for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the shrimp with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Serve the Popcorn Shrimp hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
- Enjoy!
