Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 packet sinigang mix (tamarind soup base)
  • 8 cups water
  • 1 medium onion quartered
  • 2 medium tomatoes quartered
  • 1 radish sliced
  • 1 eggplant sliced
  • 1 bunch kangkong (water spinach) or spinach
  • Fish sauce or salt to taste
  • Patis (fish sauce) for serving

Instructions

  • Add the kangkong or spinach to the pot and cook until wilted.
  • Season with fish sauce or salt to taste.
  • Serve hot with steamed rice and patis on the side for dipping.
