Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 1/2 cup chocolate spread or Nutella
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut it into 8 equal squares.
  3. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of chocolate spread onto the center of each puff pastry square.
  4. Brush the edges of the pastry squares with beaten egg, then fold them over to form triangles. Press the edges together to seal.
  5. Place the filled pastries on the baking sheet and brush the tops with more beaten egg.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastries are golden brown and puffed up.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. You can dust them with powdered sugar if desired.
  8. Enjoy!
