Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/4 tablespoon salt
- 1-3/4 cup buttermilk
- 3 tablespoons butter melted
- 2 tsps pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons honey maple syrup
- 2-3 large peaches sliced
- Maple syrup for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400° F or preheat an electric waffle iron per manufacturer’s instruction manual.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a separate small bowl or container, whisk the buttermilk, butter, and vanilla.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until a smooth batter forms.
- If using a silicone mold, pour one fourth of the batter into the mold and bake until puffed and golden brown, approximately 10-15 minutes. Repeat for all 4 waffles.
