  • Divide the dough into four equal pieces and shape them into oblong-shaped disks.
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the vegetable oil. Once hot, add the masa dough disks and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the flank steak and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the bell peppers and onion. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
  • On each huarache, sprinkle a generous amount of cheese, followed by the cooked steak, bacon, and sautéed peppers and onions.
  • Place under the broiler for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
