  • Heat oil in a pan and fry okra until crispy and golden brown. Drain on a paper towel and set aside.
  • In another pan, heat some oil and add cumin seeds. When they crackle, add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.

  • Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt to taste. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • In a bowl, whisk together yogurt and chickpea flour until smooth.
  • Add the yogurt mixture to the pan and stir well. Cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Add fried okra to the sauce and mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Serve hot with rice or flatbread.
