Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup green olives sliced
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onions and garlic, sauté until softened.
  3. Add the ground pork to the skillet and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Add the raisins and sliced green olives to the skillet, stir to combine.
  6. Let the picadillo simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  8. Serve the pork picadillo hot over rice or with your favorite side dish.
  9. Enjoy!
