Pork filled wonton soup is a delicious Chinese dish that consists of small dumplings filled with a mixture of ground pork and seasonings, served in a flavorful broth.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1/4 cup green onions finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 6 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth
  • green onions chopped for garnish
  • cilantro chopped for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, combine the ground pork, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
  2. Place a small spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of a wonton wrapper. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold it in half to form a triangle. Press the edges to seal. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  3. In a large pot, bring the chicken or vegetable broth to a simmer. Carefully add the wontons to the broth and cook for about 5 minutes or until they are cooked through.
  4. Serve the soup hot, garnished with chopped green onions and cilantro.
  5. Enjoy!
