Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound fresh okra washed, trimmed, and sliced into rounds
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish

Method
 

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced okra to the pan and stir well to coat with the oil and cumin seeds.
  4. Sprinkle the turmeric, coriander, chili powder, and salt over the okra. Stir to combine.
  5. Cook the okra, stirring occasionally, for about 15-20 minutes or until it is tender and slightly crispy.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves before serving.
  7. Enjoy!
