Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak thinly sliced against the grain
- 2 bell peppers sliced into strips
- 1 onion sliced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 inch ginger grated
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Green onions sliced for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, sugar, and black pepper. Add the sliced beef to the marinade and let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.
- Add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil to the wok. Stir-fry the garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced bell peppers and onions to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
- Return the beef to the wok and stir everything together. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until heated through.
