Jamaican Festival Fry is a delicious and popular fried bread made with cornmeal, flour, sugar, and spices. It’s a traditional Jamaican treat that is often enjoyed as a snack or side dish. The dough is shaped into elongated dumplings and then deep-fried until golden brown and crispy on the outside, while still fluffy and tender on the inside. It’s commonly served alongside savory dishes like jerk chicken or curry goat, but can also be enjoyed on its own with a drizzle of honey or jam.
