Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into an elongated dumpling shape.
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (180°C).
Carefully place the dumplings into the hot oil, frying in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
Fry the dumplings for about 5-6 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.
Remove the fried dumplings from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
