Ingredients
  

  • 16 large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 8 slices bacon cut in half
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers soaked in water for 30 minutes

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Wrap each shrimp with a half slice of bacon. Secure with a wooden skewer.
  4. Brush the seasoned oil mixture over the bacon-wrapped shrimp.
  5. Place the shrimp on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the shrimp is cooked through.
  7. You can also broil the shrimp for a couple of minutes at the end to make the bacon extra crispy.
  8. Serve hot as an appetizer with your favorite dipping sauce or over a bed of salad.
