Heat ghee in a pan over low heat.
Add besan to the pan and roast it on low heat, stirring continuously until it turns golden brown and you can smell a nutty aroma (about 10-15 minutes).
Once besan is roasted, remove the pan from heat and let it cool slightly.
Add powdered sugar, cardamom powder, chopped nuts, and raisins to the roasted besan mixture.
Mix everything well until combined.
Allow the mixture to cool down a bit so you can handle it.
Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into round laddu balls using your hands.
Repeat the process until all the mixture is used up.
Allow the laddu balls to cool completely before serving.
