Method
- In a bowl add sugar. If using ginger and or cinnamon, add to sugar and mix.
- Add a tablespoon full of tamarind pulp to sugar mixture and mix. Use your hands to roll into a ball. Drop again in sugar mixture and mix around for added coating. Remove and set aside.
- Repeat the process. Serve immediately or store in a zipper bag. Enjoy!

Notes
Ginger or small amount of cayenne can be added. Be careful giving young children tamarind balls containing seeds but the seedless preparation would be ideal.
