Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan and set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
Slowly pour in the beer and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Gently fold in the chopped guava paste.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top.
Bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
While the bread is baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and guava juice until smooth.
Once the bread is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack.
Drizzle the glaze over the top of the bread while it's still warm.
