Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef (such as sirloin or flank steak), thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger grated
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for added heat)

All

Method

  1. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes (if desired). Mix well.
  2. Add the sliced beef to the bowl and toss to coat the meat evenly with the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the marinated beef to the hot skillet and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until it is cooked to your desired level of doneness. Transfer the cooked beef to a plate and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the sliced zucchini, bell pepper, and onion. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes, until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
  6. Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the vegetables, and stir-fry for an additional minute to combine the flavors.
  7. Serve the ginger beef with zucchini hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
  8. You can enjoy it with steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal!
