Ingredients
  

  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small cabbage shredded
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1 onion thinly sliced
  • Pickled jalapeños (optional)
  • Hot sauce (optional)
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Heat some oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. In another skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Fry the corn tortillas one by one until they are crispy. Place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  3. To assemble, place a fried tortilla on a plate. Top it with a spoonful of the cooked ground beef, some shredded cabbage, grated cheese, sliced onions, pickled jalapeños, and a drizzle of hot sauce.
  4. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and toppings.
  5. Serve the garnaches hot and enjoy!
