  • 4 pieces cassava cake (bammy)
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Cut each piece of bammy into quarters to make smaller pieces.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Carefully place the bammy pieces into the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
  4. Fry the bammy pieces for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove the fried bammy from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
  6. Season the fried bammy with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot as a delicious snack or side dish.
