Be careful not to injury yourself in opening a fresh green coconut. Choose a green coconut soft enough for cutting.
One technique is to cut the top of coconut off with a sharp firm knife then carve a hole through the top to the fruit. This technique will work for young coconut. Older coconuts would have to be cut using a machete which is a learned skill.
Drink with a straw. Serve best chill. The flesh can be removed using a spoon
