Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound fresh shrimp
  • 1 cup Baijiu (Chinese liquor) or white wine
  • 3-4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger sliced
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix together the Baijiu (or white wine), garlic, ginger, green onions, soy sauce, sugar, salt, and white pepper.
  2. Add the shrimp to the marinade and let it sit for about 15-20 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  3. Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat and add the vegetable oil.
  4. Add the marinated shrimp to the hot wok and cook for 2-3 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  5. Serve the drunken shrimp hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
  6. Enjoy!
