  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • Lightly grease a 9” pie plate.
  • Add sliced potatoes, half & half, nutmeg, salt and pepper, to taste. Combine well.
  • Place pie dish in oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, prepare cobbler dough.
  • In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Cut in the butter pieces with a pastry blender, 2 forks or with your hands until the mixture becomes crumbly.
  • Add milk to the bowl and stir with a wooden spoon. Stir in one egg at a time.
  • Once eggs are combined into mixture, mix in the mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
  • Remove potatoes from oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
  • Drop dough by spoonfuls onto the potatoes.
  • Bake 20-25 minutes until the cobbler mixture is golden brown and potatoes and soft and cooked through.
