Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef or your choice of meat (such as chicken or shrimp), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Assorted vegetables (bell peppers, onions, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms), cut into chunks
  • Wooden skewers or metal skewers
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • marinade your choice or seasoning (such as a mix of garlic, herbs, and lemon juice)

  1. If you are using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes before assembling the brochettes to prevent them from burning.
  2. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  3. Thread the meat and vegetables onto the skewers, alternating between the different ingredients.
  4. Brush the brochettes with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  5. If using a marinade, you can brush it onto the brochettes for extra flavor.
  6. Place the brochettes on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
  7. Serve the brochettes hot with your favorite side dishes or sauces.
  8. Enjoy!
