Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. In a saucepan, combine apple cider vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.
  4. Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if needed.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool before using it as a marinade or drizzling over grilled meats.
