Ingredients
  

  • 2 chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce your favorite choice
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • coleslaw
  • pickles
  • red onion slices
  • onion rings

Method
 

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through.
  4. Once the chicken is cooked, shred it using two forks.
  5. Add the BBQ sauce to the shredded chicken and mix well to coat.
  6. Heat the BBQ chicken mixture in the skillet for a few minutes until heated through.
  7. Toast the hamburger buns lightly.
  8. Place a generous portion of the BBQ chicken mixture on the bottom half of each bun.
  9. Add your favorite toppings like coleslaw, pickles, onion rings or red onion slices if desired.
  10. Place the top half of the bun over the filling to create a sandwich.
  11. Serve hot and enjoy!
