My dietitian advised me to eat Wild rice instead of Brown and White rice for a healthier dietary outcome. Yes, Wild rice cost considerably more, but the health results speak for themselves in weight loss and blood sugar improvements. To anyone looking to make a change, do consult your physician or dietitian respectively and get the best advice for switching to this health changing meal choice.

Review of Wild Rice –
We've been buying our wild rice for years at a popular chain (hint–shrubs shaped like monkeys swinging in the trees), but now that chain only sells wild rice from September through March, according to a manager there.
Our whole family loves wild rice with roasted turkey or chicken, and with lamb stew. So, gave this brand a try. Costs only slightly more per pound than at the hip chain-store.
I think it has a rich, nutty flavor, and it has a classic wild-rice texture and fragrance.
Our 5 lb. bag was very strong, sealed plastic, and it was well packed with air-pillows.
I'm not surprised by how many people seem to know very little about wild rice. We stopped eating it for years because the price had gone crazy in big grocery stores. So, of course younger shoppers might never have tried it–or had it just at a few holidays where it might have been overcooked or otherwise not done right.
Very glad to have this option to enjoy affordable wild-rice.
Oh–and it is high in fiber, really helpful for digestion. Don't need raisin bran on days you eat this! Works GREAT!

I love this rice! We have been buying it for over a year and it is great quality and taste.
We cook it typically in our instant pot during 20 minutes and fast release. It goes well with fish, meat, veggies, etc. I really recommend it and it has a little discount if you subscribe.
