Lundberg Family Farms Wild Rice Harvest –
I love mixing wild, white, brown, red rice. Sometimes I cook them up and mix some more rice with it for a cereal. Also great in soups, stews, and in rice content type salads. The taste is different if you aren't used to it but, it grows on you. I love this nutritious food. It fills your empty stomach well.cooks up good and fluffy. Cost is low, too!

Just tried this rice blend for the first time today. I used the “pasta method” to cook it. I’m very happy with the quality and flavors. I particularly like the wild rice. (I find something about it uniquely satisfying, soothing and flavorful.)
This rice blend is a bit pricey, but I don’t mind paying a little extra for the sustainable, environmentally aware agriculture Lundberg Family Farms practices. I also like the fact that this rice is grown in my home state of California!
Kudos to Lunberg Family Farms for making this nutritious and satisfying rice blend available!

Natural food. Great taste and smell. Very versatile.Very good wild rice blend. I cook it in my Instant Pot using the rice to water ratios (plus the recommended butter quantity) given on the package instructions and the "Rice" button on my cooker. When I open the lid, it always looks like I've used a bit too much water at first, but I stir it a bit and turn on the "Saute" function until it's the consistency I like. I've made it with less water than directed before, but I've found that it turns out a bit too chewy for my liking. With only a minute on the "Saute" function, any excess water cooks off or perhaps mixes with starches in the rice, resulting in a creamy delicious rice blend. I haven't cooked this any other way than in my Instant Pot using the "Rice" button (I just push it and let it do it's thing), but it turns out great when cooked that way.
Another thing I like about this rice is that I can get away with making less rice for my family using this blend (as opposed to regular white rice). I'm cooking for growing boys, so when making white rice, I never make less than 4 cups (dry), and often it's more like 5-6 cups (dry), but with this wild rice, I can cook 2 cups (dry) and end up with plenty of rice for my family. They enjoy the rice (it isn't that they don't care for it), but this blend is more dense and filling than white rice, so even though it costs more than white rice, it takes less of it per meal, making it more affordable than it might seem. We eat a lot of different varieties of rice, choosing them according to our menu, and it's nice to keep this on hand to go with things like salmon or pheasant, or for whipping up a quick chicken and wild rice soup.
One more thing to note–the bag seals shut with Velcro! The top of the bag doesn't open up all that wide, so you can't easily scoop out the amount that you want. (It can be done, just not necessarily easily.) It's easier to just pour the rice into your measuring cup. I think that about covers it! This is good rice, and I highly recommend it.
