This is a recommendation to try this seafood stock but with caveats. I usually make my own seafood stock but that takes a lot of time and I didn't have enough shellfish shells needed to make my own, so I thought I'd try a shortcut by using this stock. Honestly, I did not like the flavor of this stock out of the package but I added a bunch of shrimp shells, more carrots, onions and celery and that did the trick. I think this stock is made of fish and shellfish, which is probably why it tasted off to me. Normally, I make my stock out of shellfish…no fish whatsoever. For those who really want a seafood stock using fish, you'll probably really enjoy this product. FYI, I've ordered more but will continue to doctor it for our tastes.
