I love Thai food and also love cooking new meals at home, so I was excited to try this. I looked up a Thai basil chicken recipe and was really pleased with the results. I could immediately tell the resemblance to the Thai food I have eaten in restaurants and realized that the Thai Holy Basil has a unique taste that really can't be replicated. I did check out some other options, and it seemed this is actually priced pretty reasonably although I was initially surprised at how small the bag seemed. You do rehydrate it before using, so the bag contains more than it initially seems.

I really write reviews & definitely donโt complain but this product was so disappointing. It has no taste. I followed their recommendations & soaked the leaves but to no avail. If you want the taste of Thai basil do not buy this. Go to a nursery & buy a plant

I like the fact that the basil is very fragrant and clearly fresh. I have used it in more than a dozen different recipes and I love the flavor it adds
