How to Prepare –
Have purchased the stand-alone scallops from this seller before. Have not had better other than in Japan. Hoped they were the same scallops and they were. Have never had frozen pasta sauce before – was good. Super easy – straight from the freezer into a pot of lightly boiling water, let it heat for several minutes, remove from pot with tongs, cut open the package and serve (I put in a dish to make it easy to plate). I thaw the scallops on a plate in the fridge.
Excellent meal – one 'kit' with a side vegetable and garlic bread could have easily fed three people (1 lb / half the scallops and 1 bag of sauce) or make a hearty appetizer for 4 though you might need to slice the scallops for an even presentation. Sauce could be used for anything you use sauce for.
