These 5 oz cans are practical: 20g of protein, 90 calories, and a mild flavor that works in salads, sandwiches, or straight with crackers. The pull-tab lids open cleanly, and the 8-pack stacks neatly in my fridge organizer—a small detail I really appreciate.

I'm a life-long chocolate addict, my favorites being reeces and cadbury milk chocolate. I recently became allergic to all mammalian-based products, including milk, so I bought many different types of chocolate to try. In case you are going through something similar and want to avoid spending hundreds of dollars like I did, I've included all my reviews below so you can compare and contrast.

Price: ($0.66 an oz)
Mouth Feel: Not bad, slightly waxy, like any dark chocolate
Taste: 10 out of 10. I ate these out of the bag, which was gone within 24 hours.
Recommended Use: Snacking, Baking, Cooking, Hoarding
Worth the Price? Yes! These are my favorite. I'd pay more for these if I had to.
Enjoy Life Ricemilk Baking Morsels Milk Chocolate Flavor
Price: High ($0.80 an oz)
Mouth Feel: A pretty close imitation of milk chocolate baking chips.
Taste: 8 out of 10. I ate them out of the bag before I could use them to bake.
Recommended Use: Baking, Cooking, Snacking (like in trail mix)
Worth the Price? Maybe – if you really wanted something sweet to bake with.
Pure food Dairy Free Milk Chocolate Chips –
Price: Exorbitant ($1.97 an oz)
Mouth Feel: extremely waxy, like the decade-old chocolate you'd find in your grandmother's candy dish.
Taste: 2 out of 10.
Recommended Use: Trash? If they were all I had, and I was desperate, I'd consider using them to bake cookies.
Worth the Price? Don't waste your money. There are far better options for much less money.

We have a number of family members with gluten, soy, dairy and nut allergies and these have been a great help when baking for family gatherings. They melt really well and taste better that the other brands I’ve used in the past. They even melt well for making chocolate dipped candies.

Excellent find among all chocolate chipsThese are surprisingly good dark chocolate chips. I was looking for something perfect to add to my homemade trail mix and these are very delicious and not too sweet. I didn't even know they were vegan and dairy free before I bought them! But all the reviews are spot-o: these are excellent chocolate chips with a nice creamy mouthfeel.

Chocolate covered pearsI have a friend who is lactose intolerant and I melted this chocolate by double boiling it and poured it on top of Brandy poached pears. Sprinkled almonds on top of the chocolate and it was delicious. Chocolate melted very well and was easy to pour on top of the ice cold pears, which made the chocolate harden very nicely and it had a nice glossy finish.

Excellent!!Dark chocolate is very good for you unless you get a dark chocolate brand that has a bunch of added unhealthy ingredients then you ruin the benefits of the dark chocolate. Best non-dairy chips aroundI became vegan a year and a half ago after 48 years as a vegetarian period I did not consider the full scope of dietary changes. Well, after losing a lot of weight, not the intention of the dietary change but a lovely benefit, I discovered a vegan bakery. Almost 5 dollars of chocolate chip cookie. I thought it is time to learn how to bake. These were the first chips I chose and now I am committed. I find if I want something sweet to nibble on these do the trick with so little sugar, which is terrific. The chocolate is high-quality and the cookies Were sensational. Now I must try to make them less often. I was buying these a terrific price from Amazon fresh which ran out. So I grabbed the best deal. I could find on Amazon for multiple packs and ran with it as they seem to be running out of stock in many places. Highly recommend.
