Makes great espresso & coffee, improvement & for temperature & upgrade needed.The media could not be loaded. 1st of all; I am really happy with the coffee quality thst came out of this ( De'Longhi Dinamica Plus Espresso & Coffee Machine, Automatic Milk Frother ) fully automatic espresso coffee machine.
I am currently using the Costco brand medium roasted beans, ( I find out from the representative from my other coffee machine ) that dark roasted is actually really oily for this kind of machine, the medium roasted is actually the correct beans to use, I set the bean to 3 and the water filter was 1 since my water are not hard water,
For bean setting if the bean were too fine the machine will actually let you know to adjust the setting, but I find it; for the coffee bean I was using, 3 was the most suitable and able to come out with really strong coffee and espresso.
Anyway the drinks I have try and have bean drinking daily since I start using this machine; espresso and coffee ( black ) and I am really happy with the quality. Note; I am not able to tell the quality for the rest of the drinks because I do not drink those,
Below is the breakdown;
Pro; able to make really good quality espresso and coffee, fully automatic, multiple choice of drinks, goods quality machine.
Cons; unfortunately; this machine does not allow me to set the temperature I prefer for making the coffee / espresso, because I prefer to set it at 85’C or 185’F; as I find this temperature to be the best for the quality of the drinks.
Another thing is that the water tank is kind of small, I drink about 2-3 cups of espresso daily along with at least one to two cups of coffee. And I have to refill the tank at least every other day if not once a day,
The machine will rinse every morning I turn it on, then warm up,, so it kind of wasted water, but then, all these fully automatic coffee espresso machine kind of do the same, so is definitely not just this machine itself. It’s really to use, because if it does have any issue, it will tell you, do just follow the instructions, the noise is not really loud but loud enough to be noticed.
Conclusion; it is able to make really good strong coffee and espresso, ( at least for now anyway ), time will tell; but since I did bought the 3,4 yrs insurance, just incase anything breaks or go wrong, I can get it replace or my money back within those period, so I don’t need to worry about about the 30 days return policy.
I really wanted to give this machine a 5 star, because again; I am really happy with the quality of the coffee, but not able to set my own preferences for the temperature. That really bother me, the size of the water tank is another thing I am having issue with.
Note; the coffee/ espresso temperature thst came out is actually “hot / warm” enough to consume right away, but again, for the price I am paying ( I do not mind spending for good / great product stuff ) but then again; for the price I am paying I expect I will be able to adjust the temperature; under setting for each of those drinks, so I that really did bother me.
Another note; just happened this morning; the bean were not empty, still had some, but the machine stop brewing my espresso and stated i needed to add more beans, which I did, once I added more beans then had to press the espresso for it to brew again.
Note 3; compared to other brand / machine at a similar price point, I think this machine does a better job by providing good coffee / espresso equals to great result.
If someone from DeLonghi brand see / saw this review, please let someone from your company know, whoever does the product production to add the temperature option ( for individual type of drink if possible ) for example; coffee T 85’C / 185’F, espresso at 110’F cappuccino at ??? etc, etc.

Best investment I have made for myselfI love to drink expresso coffee. But I can't get around very good anymore. I tried a Mika pot and liked the coffee it made. But when I purchased the Moka pot it only made 2 servings. I was wanting a lot more at one time. So, then I bought an manual expresso machine. That was a big mistake, I had to get the coffee grind just right and the to top that off I had to tamp the coffee grinds at the correct pressure. The manual expresso machine was returned because it never worked correctly ever since I took it out of the box.
I purchased this automatic expresso coffee machine and so far I'm very impressed! I pour the coffee beans in the top of the machine and it does it all!!! I don't have to do anything else. So far I have only made items with just the coffee. But I plan on reading more in the instruction book and figuring out the cappuccino and other milk type drinks. This machine has so many other drinks to choose from that it will fix for you.
The drip tray and used coffee grounds need dumped daily. It's so easy to do and not messy at all. I rinse the machine after I get my drink and I don't worry at all about it clogging up.
I picked Starbucks expresso coffee beans to try in this machine. I was so amazed with the taste of the expresso that was made. I can taste the coffee long after I'm done. This machine does have a filter. The filter will last 3 months if you use it daily, but only 3 weeks if you don't. So, I get coffee several times a day.
The temperature of the coffee is nice and hot, but you have to allow it to heat up and flush the lines with hot water. If, it's been setting on without brewing for a while all you need to do is do a manual hot water flush before you make your coffee.
I know the expresso machine is on the pricey side, but it's worth every penny. It will take me a few months to pay off. Initially, I felt uneasy about purchasing it, but not now. Best investment I have made for myself.

Saved me money!The media could not be loaded. Love my new machine and all the coffee and espresso options! Easy to use and set up and the coffee is delicious. I am still learning all the features! My last Delonghi was over 20 years old so I am hoping this one holds up close to as well! I can make my own custom drinks and not go to Starbucks! The machine is programmable so you get the perfect cup size.

Great coffee at the touch your fingerAfter going to Italy and then France years ago my wife and I just had to have great espresso like the coffee we had in Europe. We since have had a fully automatic espresso machine and more recently a Nespresso machine. Obviously the automatic part is really important to us – no tamping or adjusting portafilters for us.
We had forgotten what truly great espresso was like until we bought the Delonghi. This machine makes great coffee period. The strength and quality of drinks is highly adjustable to any taste as well as the volume. The variety of drinks that the machine will make with the tap of the touch screen is amazing. It is easy to maintain and lets you know when maintenance is needed. After researching fully automatic coffee machines for hours this is the one we selected and we are very happy. It is certainly not the cheapest machine but also not the most expensive. So far we feel it is worth the money.
