Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 cup Coca Cola
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

All

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine Coca Cola, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, honey, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the sauce.
  2. Place the chicken wings in a large resealable plastic bag and pour half of the sauce over them. Seal the bag and marinate the chicken wings in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (overnight for best results).
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Place the marinated chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with foil and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until cooked through and crispy, turning them halfway through and basting with the remaining sauce.
  5. While the chicken wings are baking, cook the rice according to package instructions.
  6. Once the chicken wings are cooked, serve them hot over the cooked rice. You can drizzle any remaining sauce from the baking sheet over the chicken wings for extra flavor.
  7. Enjoy!
