Ingredients
  

  • 4 plaice fillets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Lemon wedges and tartar sauce for serving

Method
 

  1. Season the plaice fillets with salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge the fillets in flour, dip them in beaten eggs, and then coat them with breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Fry the plaice fillets in the hot oil for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove the fillets from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain any excess oil.
  6. Serve the fried plaice hot with lemon wedges and tartar sauce on the side.
  7. Enjoy!
