Orelletes

Method
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the olive oil and milk to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth.
- Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness and cut into small rectangles or diamond shapes.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the Orelletes in batches until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove the Orelletes from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- While still warm, sprinkle the Orelletes with sugar.
- Serve and enjoy!
