- 500 g goat meat boneless or beef thinly sliced
- 1 onion thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic minced

- 2 stalks lemongrass bruised

- 2 tomatoes diced

Instructions
- In a large pot, heat some cooking oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, ginger, and sliced onion. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add the sliced meat to the pot and cook until browned.
- Stir in the sweet soy sauce, soy sauce, ground coriander, cumin, turmeric, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the meat.
- Add enough water to cover the meat in the pot. Bring to a simmer.
- Add the bruised lemongrass and bay leaves to the pot. Cover and let it simmer for about 1 hour or until the meat is tender.
- Add the diced tomatoes, chopped cabbage, and green onions to the pot. Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
- Serve the Tongseng hot with steamed rice.
