Egg fried cabbage is a simple and delicious dish made by stir-frying shredded cabbage with scrambled eggs. It’s a popular dish in some Asian cuisines and is a great way to enjoy the natural sweetness of cabbage combined with the richness of eggs.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 small cabbage shredded
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • green onions sliced for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. Heat oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the shredded cabbage to the pan and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the cabbage is slightly softened.
  4. Push the cabbage to one side of the pan and pour the beaten eggs into the other side.
  5. Let the eggs cook for a minute or so until they start to set, then gently scramble them with a spatula.
  6. Once the eggs are cooked, mix them with the cabbage in the pan.
  7. Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste, and stir well to combine.
  8. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  9. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions if desired.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy!
