Method
- In a bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add sugar, oil, and salt to the yeast mixture and mix well.
- Gradually stir in the flour until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Punch down the dough and divide it into small pieces, shaping each into a ball.
- Roll each ball in breadcrumbs to coat.
- Place the coated balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between each.
- Let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
